I purchased this loupe to replace a previous no name loupe. I primarily shoot medium format 6×6 and panoramic 6×17. This loupe is great for it. You can see an entire 6×6 slide with this loupe and even more. The thing that makes this loupe high quality is the sharpness edge to edge. Most cheap loupes are only sharp in the center and then distorts towards the edges. This loupe has very little if no noticeable distortion. My only complaint is that the neck cord that is included broke within a week. The cord seems to be some kind of plastic and it
just snapped and I don’t really know how. Would be nicer if it was made out of fabric. Still no big loss as I never put it around my neck, but if you use it in the field to check out ground glass backs it might be annoying. Still, probably one of the best quality loupes out there!
