If you are looking for stainless steel silverware that will last, THIS IS NOT IT. The knife is stamped stainless steel, but the fork and spoon are not. After one weekend of camping the forks and spoons all were rusty, not just at the attachment point but on the tines and bowl of the spoons. The knife may actually be SS or possibly a slightly different mix that doesn’t rust as easily, it is a slightly different color metal and after one weekend was not rusty. This product is falsly claiming that it is Stainless steel, leaving the consumer to assume that all of it is when in fact perhaps only a small portion is if that. Go run your toung over the lid of a tin can and see if you like that taste with every bite you eat from the spoons and forks.

For the price I honestly expeceted something flimsier and cheaper. But its actually not bad at all the it does what it supposed to do and packs into itself. Plastic would be lighter, but I have yet to find a good plastic version of this set. Id recommend it.

The pouch was ripped the second time it was used. The knife, fork and spoon were okay. The brackets that hold them are a bother. The knife fork and spoon a little to thin to hold up to rough use. Okay if you are careful. I would say it is passable. There is not much out there to chose from. this item served my needs.
